In simple terms:

It’s a planned schedule of meals and snacks designed to:

  • Ensure balanced nutrition

  • Control portion sizes

  • Support goals (weight loss, muscle gain, managing diabetes, etc.)

  • Save time and reduce food waste

Example (1 day meal plan):

  • Breakfast: Oats with milk and banana

  • Snack: Apple + handful of nuts

  • Lunch: Grilled chicken, brown rice, mixed vegetables

  • Snack: Yogurt

  • Dinner: Baked fish, sweet potato, salad
